purple look with a pop of white

For this look I used all different shades of purple. I added the white to the water line for that extra pop and also Iit makes your eyes appear bigger.

how to fix broken eyeshadow

As you can see in the upper left picture the eyeshadow is broken I bought it like this and got a discount yay!!! But back to fixing the eyeshadow. 1st break the rest of the color up into a powder grab alcohol (the rubbing alcohol not the kind you drink ;-)) add just enough to turn the powdered eyeshadow into clay like consistancy. stir it until all of the eyeshadow is coated. Smooth it out and let it sit for atleast 24hrs (thats just what i do) so it can set. and walla you saved your eyeshadow!!

smoky eye

Using my bh cosmetics 5th edition 120 palette I created this gorgeous smokey eye. I first primed my eye as well as smudged my nyx jumbo pencil in milk all over. I then applied #1 (silver) starting at tear duct working my way in 3/4 of the way on the lid. I then applied #2 (black) on the outter v blending into crease working my way to inner crease as well as blending inward on lid blending into silver. I then applied #1 to inner lower lash line as well #2 to lower lash line stating at outter v working my way toward silver make sure to blend the two together. I then applied #3 (light gray) to brow bone slightly blending to black on the crease. Finish it up with some liner mascara and my revlon cherries in the snow lipstickand boom done ;-) easy sexy look!!

green neutral look

neon

For this look I used my bh ccosmetics 5th edition 120 color palette.  I of course started with a clean eye I then primed the entire eye as well as smudged my nyx jumbo pencil in milk all over. I started with #1 (which is a neon pinky coral color) applying all over the lid I suggest patting it on it gets better application.  I then applied #2 (Black) to my crease blending slightly upwards as well as into outter v. Then I applied #3 (white beige) to brow bone. I then applied #1 to tear duct as well as under bottom lash line only going half way. Then I applied #2 from outter corner going under bottom lash line blending into #1. I finished it off with a winged liner mascara and nude lipstick but adding #1 on top of that.

This is the finished look. Hope you all enjoy :-)

review of blending sponge and blender brush

I bought these babies at walgreens the sponge was on sale for $4.49 and the brush was on sale for $5.99. I used the brush on a client this morning and it blened the concealer so well and so flawless she was very pleased as was I. The sponge I used on myself i dont wear foundation but really wanted to try this!!  it made the foundation blend very easy and gave it a soft look no harsh lines streaks nothing!!! If you are in the market for these dont pay an arm and a leg. Go to your local walgreens and get them for a great price!!

why I use a white eyeshadow base!

As you can see in the picture the eyeshadow with and without a eyeshadow base. As you have seen in most my post I always use my nyx jumbo pencil in milk. This is why!!! Pink especially a baby pink is always going to be hard to see!! That is why no matter what colors I am using I ALWAYS apply my nyx jumbo pencil in milk 1st.
